Recently the International Innovation Program, the University Center for Economic and Adminsitrativas (CUCEA) of the University of Guadalajara Sciences, was considered one of the leaders in the Americas as part of a study funded by The Nippon Foundation and operated by Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), who investigates the behavior of social innovation in 45 countries.

Master Oscar Felipe Garcia, research professor and director of the International Programme for Social Innovation, the CUCEA, participates in this important scientific initiative that combines quantitative and qualitative research on the political environment, civil society, entrepreneurship, and specific policies on innovation Social.

Such participation realizes an important position that has been taking the University of Guadalajara in this matter, thanks to joint work with the public sector and civil society.
